Ret would be prefered but I will do whatever you need

If you're already planning to get in on a different guilds run, why app to us? Any accepted trial apps would be expected to actually be available for raids.

Please don't waste our time if your planning to run with other guilds on your app - your app shows commitment to the guild and to everyone in that you are willing to help.

Racherr wrote:Well since Incite is rather beast and one of their members said that I may be able to come to one of their raids I want to take advantage of that. Also I would be tanking in your alt run, not what I am applyn for.
I will retract my app if this is an issue and look else where or wait a week to apply.

The alt run isn't something we normally do, but since we cleared ICC and did all the drake achieves this week, we are doing one. Harwin was only asking if you were saved, and if not you could come to that and give him an idea of your ability.

If you were to be accepted, you would be expected to be online and ready to raid if you were needed.

I would say this app be put on hold until you know what you are looking for and will be available. My general impression of your app was pretty positive until that last part, which made me think you will be the kind of player to jump ship quickly if what you perceive as something better comes along.

I think Crule's issue is this: You app to us, and if you're serious about joining this guild, then you would be expected to fill in a raid spot and be evaluated (not in an alt run in a standard guild ICC clear). You're saying, that even though you would possibly be asked to fill that spot with us and possibly join the guild YOU app'd to, you would pass because you would rather run with Incite.

The alt run on sunday isn't in any way our normal run, we simply cleared all content on wednesday and we're looking to do something for fun on Sundays and you were offered a spot to see how you played and filled a role. If you were to be offered a raid spot on tuesday you would be expected to be your main spec, and to fill that position as best you can.

It is, for lack of a better term, disrespectful.

The 'alt run' isnt' something we do weekly. Its just something we're doing this Sunday.

GL with incite's run. Maybe the next guild you app to will be more forgiving.

I understand completely.
That was a mistake on my part. I am sorry.
I stuck it out with a guild for over a year, I was interested in joining full time. Just last night I was talking to the incite member.
I agree and could see how you may think that I would simply jump ship. I can only say in my defense that this is not true.

I want to apologize for getting my signals crossed. For some reason I read it as prot/ret not ret/prot so I was trying to offer you a mainspec trial on the alt run.

(Not to say a tank woudln't have been useful, but that wasn't the intent)

This is not to attempt to reopen or anything, just by way of apology/clarification.
