Upon joining the guild you will be on a trial basis. During this time, you will be encouraged to login to Vent, and to read the forum sticky posts to get a better idea of the people and the rules the guild follows. This is to help you out, as well as us. We will see if you are able to work well with our guild members and you can get a feel for the way we play and if it is a good match for you. Order of Thrones has always prided itself on recruiting the player and not the class. Just remember that this app is the first impression you make. Spending more then a couple of minutes and a brain fart might just do you some good. If you write a lazy/boring app or you don’t answer all the questions, we are going to think you are a lazy/boring person.

For OoT, when we take on a new member there is an unspoken expectation that the player wanting to join will be available to raid during our set raid times regardless of whether they are currently in the raid or not. This usually means you’ll spend some time on the waitlist. You earn the same amount of points (for gear) by being on the waitlist as in the raid. A mod handles the waitlist automatically and awards points every 30min. These earned points (EP) and this mechanic demonstrates a basic commitment to raiding with us. If you have issues with being subbed out, or if you don’t want to stay logged in, on the chance that someone drops and we need you, I suggest moving on and looking at guilds that offer something closer to what you’re after.
***** Loot Rules *****
We use the EPGP loot system - a reoccurring award of EP (300) every 30min, an on-time bonus for showing up 10min before raid start (300), a minimum bidding EP of 12k and a 3x/week decay of 7%. If a guilds loot system is very important to you, I'd advise you to do some research on it and ensure that you agree with it in principal.
