Council + Shahraz down! Illidan points out that we lack preparation.
Wednesday night, after killing Bloodboil for the second time we went to Mother Shahraz. We geared up in SR, talked about the pull, and then... I don't know. There was a large tornado warning for my area and my boyfriend was giving me a "You're an idiot if you don't get off that computer and away from the windows" look, so I had to run. At that point it was late and most of the backups were logged off so they just decided to pull Shahraz with 24 people. Naturally they wiped. But then they figured they'd pull her one more time, for two times total, and they didn't wipe.
Obviously I don't have a kill-shot since I wasn't there.
Last night we went to Illidari Council. After some problems on the pull (one of the trickiest parts of the fight), and about 4-5 "real" attempts, they also died. It was still tight - we had a lot of DPS die, but we got them down before the enrage timer. Sadly, they're kind of unimpressive as corpses, especially scattered around the room, so they don't make a very good killshot either.
However, it was now time to take on Illidan. First, we talked to Akama.

Akama led us upstairs and tried to open the big door leading to Illidan. He wasn't prepared either, but he was able to get some help from some old friends and get the door open.

And then we stormed up, ready to face Illidan, furious in our wrath. And he... kind of ignored us.

Luckily Akama was there to piss him off and we got to fight him. He kicked our ass, mostly with his fire elementals. But we'll be back. Oh yes, we'll be back.
